Bouncing on a trampoline regularly can help increase your body’s metabolic rate and its ability to burn calories more efficiently. Exercise helps boost the activity of immune cells keeping the bodys natural defences high and reducing the chance of becoming unwell.
A study by NASA also found that “jumping on a trampoline can be up to 68% more effective than treadmill jogging”. Bouncing on a trampoline increases your heart rate which promotes weight loss as well as lots of other health benefits. Trampolining is regularly promoted as one of the best and most effective forms of exercises you can do!
Whilst bouncing on a trampoline, you begin to improve your general balance and coordination, as well as developing an awareness of your body and how to control it whilst jumping. Improving your co-ordination and fine motor skills can assist in other sports that require hand-eye and general co-ordination. Gymnasts, acrobats and extreme sport enthusiasts also use trampolines to improve their aerial skills and tumbles.
Muscle tone can be improved and your body fat percentage reduced through regular trampolining. Regular exercise can also help improve posture and general muscle health. John Beer, Olympic coach to the British trampolining team, says: “Your core-stability muscles are almost constantly engaged to keep you stable and balanced, meaning a tauter, stronger stomach and lower back.”

Regular rebounding sessions can help you relax, thus promoting better sleeping patterns and giving your more energy.
